This senior role is crucial for providing technical support and mentorship to project teams. The position involves coordinating and monitoring the entire software development lifecycle across various technology platforms and disciplines.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and implement Oracle Suite applications using J2EE framework.
  • Consult with customers on technical design and development of software applications and modifications.
  • Evaluate integration between multiple systems, including hardware and software, considering operational and performance requirements.
  • Develop and direct software system technical design procedures, programming, technical testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with functional, architecture, and quality assurance teams to review documentation, address issues, and support roles within the development lifecycle.
  • Create technical design documentation for software changes and development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
  • Analyze, design, and document system implementation and extensions, and follow best practices for design and deployment.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in the retail or software integrator industry
  • 3+ years of experience and proficiency with 1+ (Point of Sale) POS system
  • 7+ years of experience in Java software design and/or development.
    • Spring framework experience is preferable.
  • 3+ years of experience as a consultant or in an internal consulting role.
  • 5+ years of experience working with distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
  • Experience leading a development team is preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases preferred
