In addition to our passion for events and new experiences, we bring together a diverse mix of perspectives and expertise, a commitment to hard work and integrity, and many years of experience.Job DescriptionAbout the PositionCannonball is seeking an Event Sponsorship Sales Manager dedicated to growing his/her skills while also making a splash here, on our team. You will also gain hands-on experience by contributing to event preparation, execution, and wrap-up. We are seeking a passionate and hardworking person with a positive attitude who is social, excited to learn, and ready to give 110% Secure Sponsorships: Create pitch decks, monitor budgets, and execute all other administrative details in relation to partners and sponsors, including but not limited to creating and executing contracts, vendor forms, invoices, etc.Research potential partners for all eventsOutreach to agencies, new and existing brandsAttend meetings and calls as necessary with potential partners, take notes, and reply post-meeting with next stepsAttend industry events and develop relationships with clients and media agenciesRespond to and secure inbound leadsOnboard local sponsors in each marketInputs leads and deals into CRM Create and manage automated email campaigns Create custom proposals for partners when neededManage/Fulfill Agreements and Communications: Sponsor fulfillment (contractual inclusions) and communicate clearly to the marketing team what they need to fulfillCreate and send load-in deck/vendor kitsProject manage all website logos, photo and video assets, social media, and email marketing requests through respective internal teamsFinalize all on-site sponsor and partner needs, coordinate onsite deliveries, and be the point of contact for all related items at the event for setup, event days, and breakdownSend post-event thank yous, recap decks, and photos for brands Partner Success, Relations, and Retention:Build and maintain relationships with the key accountsPartnership liaison for logisticsDevelop partnership and sponsorship concepts, potential activations, and partner integrationRecap meetings/calls post-event, quarterly or annuallySend notes/gifts for holidays and special occasionsGeneral:Brainstorm and develop event branding and inclusionsCollaborate with production and marketing teamsAssist in day-of event execution on weekdays and weekends, if interestedReport directly to the CEOQualificationsAbout YouBachelor's degree3-5 years experience in business development and/or salesExperience in client relationships and managementA desire to build and nurture healthy internal and external relationships Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyAn ability to independently research and prospect using a variety of techniques including online research and face-to-face networkingComfort in developing and selling creative, abstract ideas to senior executivesExcellent capacity to learn quickly, think on the fly and self-teach as requiredExceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Solid understanding of core marketing principles Proactive and goal-oriented with a strong willingness to learn and constantly improveAdditional InformationBenefits and PerksCompetitive pay; traveling the country for events; 401K matching; connecting with key contacts in the media/entertainment industry; working closely with the CEO.DurationFull-timeTo ApplyPlease include your resume, cover letter, and 2 professional references.
