* 5+ years of experience within government audit.

* Prior experience working in a public accounting firm, public firm or consulting firm (not big 4) is essential.

* Excellent experience within audit testing methods, substantive procedures, and sampling techniques.

* Strong knowledge of financial statement auditing, including internal controls.
