Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile IT Support Specialist to join our client's expanding team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with a primary focus on providing comprehensive technical support across various locations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support across multiple locations, including corporate headquarters and distribution centers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ranging from printer configurations to ERP/CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address IT-related challenges and optimize system performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of new software solutions, including Business Central and other enterprise systems.
  • Act as a liaison between end-users and third-party MSP for escalated technical issues.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge-sharing resources to support ongoing training initiatives.
  • Utilize SQL and other programming languages to optimize system functionality and data management.
  • Support end-user training initiatives and facilitate knowledge transfer for new technology solutions.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach to IT support, ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a hands-on IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages, with the ability to troubleshoot and modify code as needed.
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with a wide range of hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support various locations as needed.
