Client Services Coordinator Physical Therapy Part Time 79882BR Job Summary This AAIII position functions independently, serving as the Client Services Coordinator in the PhysFit Physical Therapy Health and Wellness Center within the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at Mission Bay. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining positive communication between clients, staff and providers while facilitating the smooth flow of client services and administrative needs of the Center and the Physical Therapists. This position functions autonomously, reporting to the Department Manager, and consulting with the Administrative Director of Clinical Services as needed. The Client Services Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely completion of all required administrative and cashiering functions as outlined below. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $29.03 - $41.55 (Hourly Rate). Department Description The UCSF Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science is located in the School of Medicine, with graduate degrees supported by the Graduate Division. The Department clinicians provide patient care through the Outpatient Physical Therapy Faculty Practice and PhysFit Physical Therapy Health and Wellness Center. The mission of the UCSF Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science is to provide evidence-based, patient-centered physical therapy services for the community, and to educate scholarly, socially sensitive clinicians, educators, and researchers in physical therapy and rehabilitation science who will lead the profession into the next century. Required Qualifications High school graduation and four years of related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Comfortable assisting clients with their program activity under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist; Previous customer service experience in a fitness or health care facility. Preferred Qualifications Independent, resourceful, self-starter with keen attention to detail. Able to identify and act on marketing opportunities to promote the programs offered. Excellent command of Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word. Adaptability to work effectively with multiple staff and client personalities. Highly organized and able to multi-task autonomously. CPR certification.
