Vaco Denver is looking for an immediately available Staff Accountant to join our valued client in Louisville, CO. The ideal candidate will have expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, cost accounting, and fixed assets. If you are searching for a rewarding project, we encourage you to apply Position Responsibilities: Oversee month-end close processes, including reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting. Manage assets by pulling subledger records and ensuring accurate reconciliations. Assist the Accounts Payable team by entering bills and providing support Review open sales and purchase orders to manage inventory accurately. Review and reconcile reports from third-party locations. Prepare and post journal entries, re-classes, and accruals for three entities. Handle monthly amortizations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Generate and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Support audits by providing documentation and information as required. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. 2-3 years of experience in accounting or related roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Experience with ERP software; NetSuite experience is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
