Serve as point-of-contact for telehealth implementation and telehealth operations for statewide Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative (PPC) locations and Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program (PMHCA). Provide support for all activities involving services through the use of telehealth throughout the state of New Jersey. Occasional travel throughout the state is required as the program continues to develop.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Telehealth Clinical Coordinator at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

1. Serve as a primary contact and liaison for program implementation and coordination among doctors and patients.
2. Work directly with statewide HUB's to bridge access to care via telehealth for patients as needed.
3. Work directly with statewide partners and stakeholders of the PMHCA and the NJPPC.
4. Capability to discuss effectiveness and limiting factors of child and family ability for telehealth services.
5. Occasional travel to organize and maintain outreach for on-site training and assistance on implementing various telehealth workflows.
6. Ability to travel for yearly conferences, educational and/or further training opportunities as needed to advance skills related to the program.
7. Provide clinical support to new PMHCA initiatives and deliverables, as well as NJPPC telehealth needs.
8. Ability to provide clinical psychoeducation, care coordination and support to providers and partners in regards to PMHCA telehealth deliverables.
9. Partner statewide with NJPPC Community Provider Liaisons for provider outreach and training regarding telehealth enhancements.
10. Ability to positively represent Hackensack Meridian Health and PMHCA at statewide meetings with program funders and other external organizations or presentations.
11. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and best practices in behavioral digital health, including data privacy and security.
12. Provide technical support and ensure that problems and system development needs are addressed.
13. Develop partnership with community-based organizations to set up telehealth programs and provide workflow and educational support to achieve desired outcomes.
14. Work with marketing specialists to develop infographics displaying current and future state opportunities.
15. Assist in general data collection, report generation, and other related projects while reporting to the Telehealth Project Manager.
16. Create and distribute telehealth clinical forms, documents, schedules, promotional material, satisfaction surveys, and various items of information to on-site medical staff and patients and ensure successful video connection during appointments.
17. Answer patient/family and referring physician questions appropriately and within the realm of technical and clinical knowledge/expertise.
18. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Strong Customer service skills in both written and oral domain.
2. Excellent problem-solving skills.
3. Task/project management skills.
4. Highly proficient computer skills - experience with Google Workspace, acrobat, adobe.
5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to react quickly and calmly in emergencies.


Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

1. Masters degree or higher in mental health, healthcare administration, or other applicable fields.
2. Experience working in a clinical setting with technicians, nurses and physicians.
3. Two (2) years of experience in related work.
4. Experienced in telehealth specific to behavioral health services.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

1. NJ Licensed Social Worker or Associate Counselor License.
