SUMMARY

Track and coordinate job orders internally and externally in order to meet customers and internal demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Constant communication with our suppliers and internal departments for determining where components and subcomponents are in the manufacturing process in order to meet the schedule due dates
  • Interaction with our vendors to ensure their on-time deliveries are met
  • Plan, analyze, and schedule the jobs orders in the facility
  • Review and monitor production schedules for most accurate results with consideration to capacity levels, efficiency, etc.
  • Maintain spreadsheet with the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules by project
  • All other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No direct supervision required

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Requires a minimum of 3 years of production control experience or equivalent specialized training in scheduling control.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of production control processes and procedures in a fabrication setting.
  • Good problem-solving skills in general and in math
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must have basic knowledge of the metric system Must have working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in Microsoft Project preferred
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (Accounting B.S. or B.A.) from four-year college or university; and/or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

TRAVEL:

Ability to travel out of state for training as needed.
