We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Pegasus Steel Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of our machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Manage the maintenance budget and track key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Five years of maintenance technician experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing hand-held tools and machinery.
- Ability to develop and follow maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic controls.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and maneuver 200lbs without assistance.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- PLC and computer controls experience.
- Forklift and crane certification.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and fumes. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
