Location: This is an onsite position in either State College, PA or Dulles, VA or Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX

Time requirements: This is a full time position for a time period of at least 6 months. With the right qualifications, the position could be much longer.

Clearance requirements: This position requires an active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.

A Database Architect is needed on a mission-critical classified program. Experience all aspects of database architecture in a MongoDB environment as a member of a fast-paced agile team.

Basic Qualifications: Typically requires Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and Six (6) years of software engineering experience. Six (6) years of experience in database design and architecture in a MongoDB environment including experience with: - Mongo Query performance tuning - Mongo pipelines - Architecting large data solutions Database and system-level debugging experience including the ability to identify problems in established code and make modifications as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications: Software development experience in Java Experience working in a Linux environment Experience with AWS environment Experience with Kafka Experience with OpenSearch Experience working in the Intelligence Community Experience with Relational Databases and other Nonrelational databases Experience with satellite communication systems and protocols is highly preferred. Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI
