Dentive is currently seeking a full-time Director of Insurance Relations to add to our amazing team in Provo, UT We are open to remote candidates. Look no further We're a growing Dental Partnership Organization that is dedicated to supporting Dentists by taking on the admin work so they can focus on what they do best. We are looking for a stellar senior level person to join the team and lead the insurance and payor strategy for our Partners and practices This role will support Dentive’s continued growth with new affiliations as well as existing Dentive locations. The Director will partner with key constituents across the company, including field operations, clinical leadership, analytics, and insurance to develop, document and communicate all aspects of the Insurance Department. this person will be a key team member who thrives on learning, collaborating and relationship building in order to achieve key outcomes for Dentive.

What you'll be doing... Conducts research in order to make recommendations of insurance/payor contracts Identify opportunities for additional insurance plans to be added or replaced based on each market Manage payor contracts and updates in order to support Dentive doctors and offices as well as payor relationships Collaborate with field leadership in order to maximize plan participation in each market as well as future market opportunities Oversee and manage 3rd party credentialing vendor and/or Dentive credentialing staff Develop and maintain positive relationship with payors Facilitate problem resolution for complex problems between providers and plans Support all future affiliations with key roles including but not limited to tax identification change, credentialing updates and plan participation Collaborate with field leadership and dental offices to gain alignment prior to implementation of initiatives

What you bring... Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field or equivalent in health care experience Experience in dental support organizations, preferred Knowledge of dental healthcare industry or dental insurance industry Ability to travel up to 50% Demonstrated ability to gain support and alignment for recommended actions Ability to work remotely and achieve department goals
