As an Automation Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in a technically advanced environment, working on a coordinated robotic paint line. Reporting directly to the lead Process Engineer at out plant in Cleveland, OH and have a high level of skill, initiative, and an understanding of the importance of continuous improvement. Ensure automation lines operate properly to maximize uptime, including troubleshooting, basic preventative maintenance, and providing continuous improvement recommendations. Implement and sustain continuous improvement plans. This is a second shift position, 2pm to 10:30pm. Key ResponsibilitiesAid in the shutdown of automated paint spray lines, including purging catalyst lines, replacing guns, and shutting down the PLC system.Identify operational issues on two robotic automation lines.Make necessary adjustments to existing equipment.Ensure smooth production flow, meet performance goals, and maintain industry standards.Resolve inconsistencies in the automation process.Maintain, repair, and rebuild automatic spray guns, including replacing parts such as seals and fittings.Maintain work and lab areas to industry standards of 5S organization and cleanliness.Work cooperatively with management to achieve lab and team goals and participate in team meetings.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.Proficiency in PLC systems, robotic automation, and troubleshooting.
