As the Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with both new and existing customers. Nurture Existing Contacts: Strengthen ties with current customers, driving business expansion. Market Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, conditions, and emerging opportunities. Strategic Planning: Identify target market areas and develop effective business development plans. Lead by Example: Set a high standard of excellence, accessibility, and teamwork. Compelling Presentations: Showcase programs to potential and existing customers. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and preferences.QualificationsDesired Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years in a business development or similar sales role. Extensive knowledge of sales principles, including the art of showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Deep understanding of the local market, including key players, trends, and growth potential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate, present, and collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners. Customer service-driven mindset with a professional and solutions-oriented approach to resolving issues and concerns. Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing business environment, making informed decisions to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Charlie's Produce is the largest privately owned produce wholesalers on the West Coast.
