Position Title: Electrical Reliability Engineer Category: Salary full-time (exempt) Physical Location: International Paper – Port Wentworth Mill 1 Bonnybridge Rd Port Wentworth, GA 31407 The Job You Will Perform: Interact with all parts of the organization and work hand in hand with operations, maintenance, and engineering to implement effective and strategic maintenance initiatives that support achievement of reliability goals and objectives, key performance metrics, maintenance cost objectives, and capital projects execution. Drive continuous improvement through positive influence, IP best practices, FMEA, and RCFA. Drive culture of reliability that focuses on systems of MWS, training, and deliberate improvement. Develop and implement equipment reliability strategy. Facilitate RCFA by leading a group to quickly and thoroughly identify and solve latent causes. Drive reliable methods and QA/QC. Provide technical assistance and advice as necessary to aid in troubleshooting complex issues in the manufacturing/reliability process. Support development of 5-year major maintenance and capital plans. Manage small improvement projects. Provide reliability oversight of PdM, PM, precision practices/training, and facility preservation. Recommend action based off of PdM findings. Evaluate repair methods, shop audits, and use repair vs replace decision making. Champion a reliability best practice element. The Skills You Will Bring: B.S. in engineering discipline or equivalent experience in maintenance, engineering, or reliability. 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to lead multiple projects of varying complexity and progress. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence all levels of the organization.
