Job Summary:
The Reliability Maintenance Planner will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of equipment at Optimus Steel LLC. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating proactive maintenance activities, working closely with operations and maintenance departments to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement job plans for planned maintenance, predictive, and preventive technologies in conjunction with reliability technicians, engineers, and maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate the work execution on down-days and outages to ensure planned work compliance and quality.
- Manage non-emergency work and planned work backlog, ensuring timely completion and minimizing downtime.
- Develop procedures to improve safety, lower costs, and optimize resources, including the development of Annual Action Plans.
- Train maintenance and operation personnel on equipment care, new operating equipment, software, methodologies, and procedures.
- Participate in the development of procedures to improve safety, lower costs, and optimize resources.
- Conduct routine safety and maintenance activities, including audits, maintenance task evaluations, employee contacts, and visibility tours.
- Ensure compliance with visual management standards and safety rules and requirements in all work areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field, with a high level of mastery in discipline.
- Extensive working knowledge of maintenance concepts and techniques, with demonstrated expertise in asset reliability technology and systems.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment, perform and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with associates at all levels.
