SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Senior Marketing Services Manager and according to established Firm policy and procedures, the Marketing Services Coordinator is responsible for the day- to- day marketing operations of their local office. The Marketing Services Coordinator will carry out the duties associated with client events, seminars, CLEs, community and charitable contributions, office events, the company store as well as all other marketing and business development initiatives for the office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans and executes all seminars, CLEs, client entertainment and other business development events and activities in coordination with the Client Growth team, where applicable.

Conducts the marketing orientation for new legal personnel.

Utilizes available business development research tools to identify marketing prospects, due diligence and strategic marketing information.

Makes recommendations to Office Managing Partner regarding memberships, sponsorships and community support to maximize marketing value.

Manages community support and office-supported practice development sponsorships at the local level, including coordinating ads, branding, attendance for events and evaluating ROI.

Oversees office client and community relations budget and office sports and entertainment budget. Works directly with Office Managing Partner and Senior Marketing Services Manager in annual budget planning and monthly monitoring.

Coordinates with the communications team to complete press releases, resources for PR opportunities, surveys, directories and other listings.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to present organized, timely information to attorneys and staff at meetings. Should also demonstrate strong communication skills when meeting with firm clients and vendors.

Assures the availability of collateral materials, company store and other items, including procurement of gifts for clients.

Responsible for the maintenance and utilization of marketing databases /CRM products for the firm.

Manage local offices social media presence and content on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

Manages requests for and distribution of tickets for various sporting and client entertainment opportunities.13. Maintains accurate information on firm intranet calendars related to office marketing event and sports/entertainment ticket availability, where applicable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Knowledge of marketing, communications and public relations in order to assume responsibility for the office marketing program at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor degree in marketing, communications or equivalent.

Three to five years of progressively responsible related work experience in a professional services industry.

Interpersonal and communication skills in order to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff and clients and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact while safeguarding confidentiality, and to effectively negotiate and represent the firm in a favorable and business-like manner.

Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate by telephone and e-mail to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.

Experience in developing and utilizing marketing databases, and a familiarity with marketing related computer tools.6. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.7. Ability to proofread typed materials for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors; excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to prepare, understand and monitor approved budgets.

Proficiency in Windows; Word, PowerPoint and spreadsheet applications, preferably Excel.

Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position; may require irregular hours, and occasional travel.
