The position could require travel, overnight stays, and nights and weekends for events and community-based meetings.

Vail Communities is looking for the Director of Development and Marketing to join our team This role plays a crucial role in raising awareness, building relationships, and securing financial support for Vail Communities and our mission.

What will you do?
Working closely with the President and Executive Officer, Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, this position will develop and execute a long-term fundraising and marketing plan. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong connections with donors, overseeing various aspects of development operations, and managing donor engagement, individual gifts, marketing, communications, and grants. All major job responsibilities and functions are to be carried out according to the standards set by the President and Executive Officer, the stated philosophy, values, mission, goals, and objectives of the organization, and according to the organization's written policies, procedures, and guidelines.
