Inside Sales Director

Our client is a rapidly-growing mid-size consumer products organization looking for an accomplished Inside Sales Director with experience leading a team of at least 20 Inside Sales Representatives. This position has the opportunity to work remote. Headquarters is based on the West Coast.

Position Responsibilities

Maximizes sales effectiveness by providing leadership to the inside sales team to ensure productivity targets are met and or exceeded

Responsible for training and mentoring team

Experience in customer relationship management software, such as Netsuite or a similar CRM

Experience with managing customer databases and assignments

Set and track sales targets for your team

Establish and monitor margin and quality control

Develop systems to support sales growth

Assist with developing and growing accounts

Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process

Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines

Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements

Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products

Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement

Build an open-communication environment for your team

Manage Lead Generation process and effectiveness

Dedication to providing excellent customer service

Technology proficient/savvy

Ability to develop a deep understanding of our sales framework, market and customer needs

Multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through

Evaluates market conditions and adjusts sales strategy to successfully adapt to those changes. Gathers and evaluates key sales trends and market indicators

You may be a good fit for our team if you have

Proven work experience as an Inside sales manager/director

Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Excel

In-depth understanding of the sales administration process

Excellent interpersonal and team management skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude

BS degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant experience

Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products

Dedication to providing excellent customer service

Technology proficient/savvy

Ability to manage customer database

Multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through

Gift, Wine & Spirits, and Drinkware experience is a plus
