**Summary**

This role requires a dynamic, high-performing person with experience selling highly engineered product and services over the phone, by email, and in person presentations. You will be responsible for managing a client book and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market.

Requirements

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Prospect, Cold call and manage all prospects and customers independently by developing your own process to handle action needed and calls required.

Manage more than 15 customers or prospects at one time with the organizational objective of 10% growth year over year through current customers and new customers. Assuming this role begins with zero customers the growth rate for this roll must be more than 10%. This role should develop $2 million or more over the 1-3-year period with the expectation that this business volume will grow as Vulcans relationship grows with these accounts over time.

This role will learn how to establish prices, supply quotes, set up orders, etc.

Develop the ability to know what the selected customer products should cost based on market conditions and process.

Develop the ability to set up RFQs and guide the organization on how to quote based on process and customer expectations. This includes guiding the organization on proper manufacturing technique to use based on the understanding of the customer needs or the competitions process. For instance, Vulcan would need to cast the product not die cast the product and working with the customer and Vulcan to guide all parties through the process.

Learn Vulcan capabilities, process, tolerances, etc to provide value to the customers to help drive sales growth.

Develop the skills to forecast.

Develop the needed sales skills to grow set accounts, the role is not just managing but growth of the defined accounts is a requirement.

Grow current accounts and acquire new business.

**Education and/or Experience**

Bachelors degree preferred.

3-5 years of sales experience of cold calling and prospecting potential clients

Proficient using Microsoft office suites (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point, etc.)
