The Role

ZenBusiness is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join the ZenBusiness team. This role will partner with our Sales team to provide exceptional Human Resources support. Being part of our team requires you to be a team player, embrace the startup lifestyle, be assertive, thoughtful, analytical, and courageous.

This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources - HRBP and is a hybrid role based in the Austin, TX area.

Responsibilities
  • As a Business Partner, this person is responsible for managing and resolving employee relations issues within the organization.
  • Provide concierge human resources support to the People Leaders on our Sales team, with a strong focus in the area of performance management.
  • Updating HR policies and making sure the team is in compliance with these changes is a vital part of this role.
  • Oversee routine HR tasks such as benefits and leave programs, disciplinary actions, employee performance and talent management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to recruit and interview qualified job candidates for Sales roles.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in Human Resources, preferably working with large sales teams
  • SHRM/PHR Certification required
  • A history of exercising good judgment and discretion with a background of strong ethical character capable of handling confidential information
  • Proven excellence in organizational and planning skills; problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize
  • Good knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Desire to work as a team player
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Lattice and Rippling
  • Excellent communication and people skills
