Summary of Role:

We're looking for a dynamic Recruiting Coordinator to help us continue to provide an exceptional candidate experience In this role you will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will partner directly with our Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Interviewers to schedule candidates. You will be the ambassador of the firm's mission to future team members. This important role will help grow the firm and allow you to build a relationship with everyone who joins GHJ.

Your Location

This position is hybrid and eligible for primarily remote work but is subject to the manager's discretion depending on the needs of the role to travel to the office or client sites. This role will require you to come onsite for an in-person New Hire Orientation, attend our Firmwide meeting twice a year and a department retreat once a year at the GHJ Los Angeles office.

You will be responsible for...
    • Act as a main point of contact for candidates and assist with scheduling interviews, sending status updates, as well as managing virtual and in-person interviews
    • Work with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a seamless interview experience for every candidate
    • Deliver the best possible candidate experience including prompt replies to scheduling requests and going above and beyond to make candidates feel welcome when interviewing with the firm
    • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates to provide necessary information and updates
    • Escalate issues to leadership when there are problems getting interviews scheduled
    • Post all open requisitions to external careers sites and assist in sharing these openings with our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility partnerships
    • Suggest process improvements to improve the candidate experience and assist Hiring Managers in filling their roles more quickly
    • Knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices
    • Schedule travel arrangements for candidates and team members
    • Provide administration support to the Search and Staffing Partner and team
    • Screen applicant resumes when needed
    • Participate in team projects, as needed

What skills & experience you'll bring to us:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, or business administration support
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Teams, Box, Zoom, or similar software
    • Proficiency in using Lever applicant tracking system (ATS) or other recruitment system a plus
    • Familiarity with LinkedIn platform
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

GHJ complies with all local/state regulations in regards to displaying salary ranges. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), for example. At GHJ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50,000 to $60,000.
