POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Construction Accounting Supervisor the Construction Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information for the Outpatient Medical segment (OM) of Healthpeak's property portfolio. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Review, analyze, and approve invoices related to capital and tenant improvement projects
  • Maintain and manage design costs
  • Assist in tracking and reporting costs related to capital and tenant improvement projects
  • Perform monthly activities relating to financial close
  • Maintain, organize, and update document database(s) as needed
  • Prepare required and/or necessary notices or documents to property managers or other company employees
  • Preparation of detailed reports to be submitted in a timely manner to relevant company employees upon request
  • Answer calls and emails from all internal and external clients in a timely and positive manner
  • Assist capital accounting team with special project assignments

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred but not required
  • Intermediate Excel skill level
  • Experience in multi-entity / multi-facility environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work some overtime
  • Limited travel
  • Team and goal-oriented with a curiosity to learn and develop new skills
