THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A LEAD AUTOMATION ENGINEER

You will enjoy a full-time and flexible work schedule designed to foster a healthy work-life balance. This role may require occasional international and domestic travel, up to 30% of the time, to collaborate with global teams and support project execution.

In your role as a Lead Automation Engineer, you will spend your days supporting and advising project engineers on medium to high-complexity projects, ensuring all technical aspects meet customer expectations. You will create flowcharts and engineering documents to identify software requirements and propose solutions, while designing and developing computer software systems for our clients in the food industry. You will manage the technical scope of work to achieve project goals, participate in project reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers. Additionally, you will support the project manager in ensuring proper project execution, resolve technical issues during all project phases, and continuously capture and apply learned lessons to enhance performance and quality.

OUR IDEAL LEAD AUTOMATION ENGINEER
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in control and automation engineering, electrical engineering, robotics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years in controls and automation engineering, including programming
  • Expertise in developing application solutions using multiple programs and software
  • Experience in supporting and advising project engineers
  • Proven ability to resolve questions or problems during design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, start-up, and operation
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time
