Our Challenge:

As a Lead Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.


The Role

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in designing, developing, and executing automated test cases and test scripts.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  3. Design and implement automation frameworks and testing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
  4. Identify and prioritize areas for automation, and work towards achieving higher automation coverage.
  5. Review and analyze automated test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
  7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA automation and implement them within the team.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert in automation testing and provide guidance to the team and stakeholders.
  9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on testing progress, issues, and risks.


Requirements:

You are:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of QA engineers.
  3. Strong proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, etc.
  4. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
  5. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  6. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar languages.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.


It would be great if you also had:

  1. Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Relevant certifications in automation testing or quality assurance.
  3. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  4. Experience with performance testing and security testing tools and methodologies.
