QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. QMG has been a recognized leader in healthcare for more than 85 years and we continue to lead the way in transforming healthcare.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Access Representative position is an essential part of the medical group, as this is often the first point of contact for patients and their families. This position is responsible for patient communication, advocacy, satisfaction, and administrative duties.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Work location is in Quincy, IL.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent customer service skills over the phone and in person as this position plays a critical role in making patients feel welcome, comfortable, and valued, which can significantly impact their overall experience and satisfaction with QMG Healthcare Providers. Values and understands the importance of protecting patient information. Proficient computer skills. Enjoys working collaboratively with clinic staff and scheduling important services for patients.

High school diploma or GED required. Some college or previous healthcare customer service experience; or a combination of education and experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
