During the past 50 years, Somfy engineers have designed products for both the commercial and residential markets to motorize window coverings such as interior shades, wood blinds, draperies, awnings, rolling shutters, exterior solar screens and projection screens. Somfy motorization systems are easily integrated with security, HVAC and lighting systems providing total home or building automation. Responsible for administrating a product portfolio from demand planning (with international and local suppliers) all the way to ensure the correct reception of products while nurturing and growing internal and external relationships, strengthening our company’s supply chain added value. Administrate a designated product portfolio. Review the demand of each product and make sure our inventory levels are within the guidelines of the company. Enter POs into our system (SAP S4/ IBP). Timely communicate and escalate any potential inventory issue: lack of inventory or overstock. Follow up with suppliers on order receptions, ensure confirmation of delivery. Follow up with service providers that the transportation and import processes flows adequately until the products are correctly received on destination. Maintain and nurture a supplier’s portfolio. Strengthen our commercial relations with all our suppliers and develop new suppliers when needed. Generate reports, actionable insights, and process-improvement actions to increase the efficiency of the designated product portfolio as well as our supply chain value added. Maintain the supplier’s and product’s portfolio updated on SAP/S4, IBP. Follow up on potential process recalls or supplier’s quality issues. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience. Preferred experience with SAP/S4, IBP or similar ERP inventory planning software Forecasting and Distribution facility- Operations experience preferred Adaptable, flexible, agile and resourceful, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant changes Creative problem solver with an “outside of the box” mentality, a sense of priority and urgency to meet deadlines from different partners Disciplined, organized, and with a structured mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively Ownership mentality focused on customer satisfaction, with a willingness to work in a constantly changing environment SAP/IBP skills is a plus Typical hours 8:00 AM -5:00 PM Monday-Friday.
