Position Overview:

The Head of Supply Chain Strategy will oversee the operations across our global network, including manufacturing, development, and distribution. This role requires a deep understanding of Industrial Engineering principles to conduct data analysis and evaluations that support complex assignments related to production, quality, and warehousing.

The successful candidate will lead the global network operations team responsible for 'make vs buy' sourcing analysis, capacity utilization reviews, and the coordination of significant global supply chain projects. You will develop a strategic roadmap and portfolio of all business intelligence and technology initiatives necessary to meet the long-term competitive needs of the supply chain department.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing:
  • Lead analyses for cost-saving opportunities through make vs buy assessments.
  • Oversee supply chain design, including distribution center and plant locations.
  • Evaluate and recommend consolidation or expansion of plants and distribution centers.
  • Conduct operational assessments of new acquisitions.
Capacity Planning:
  • Perform semi-annual capacity planning for all brands.
  • Assess internal plants, operational warehouses, contract manufacturers, and material suppliers.
  • Link business needs to develop a roadmap for process improvements.
Supply Chain Analytics:
  • Coordinate supply chain analytic initiatives, prioritizing AI and automation projects.
  • Develop predictive analytics and optimization models.
  • Serve as a key contact for data visibility and insights within the Supply Chain department.
Network Operations Leadership:
  • Facilitate collaboration between plants, strategic business units, and supply chain functions.
  • Optimize portfolio initiatives to reduce manufacturing complexity.
  • Implement metrics to track service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Support new product execution and develop a comprehensive supply chain resiliency strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, focusing on manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to establish and execute supply chain strategies that reduce costs and enhance margins.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Exceptional team-building capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving proficiency.
  • Experience in developing lean operations.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
