Packaging Specialist in Global Supply Chain

POSITION: PACKAGING SPECIALIST


As a Packaging Specialist, you will operate bagging machinery to ensure that the appropriate animal feed is packaged accurately and safely, maintaining high quality standards throughout the process.

Your role will include documenting production activities and performing general computer tasks.

This position requires regular monitoring of bag weights to ensure compliance with quality specifications, verifying that bags are sealed correctly and that labels are accurate.

You may occasionally lift items weighing up to 50lbs.

Work is conducted entirely onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 6 months experience in a packaging or similar environment.

Strong attention to detail is essential (experience with picking, packing, sorting, quality assurance, and shipment verification is beneficial).

Food Safety training or experience is an advantage.

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Climate-controlled facility.

DRESS CODE:
Long pants and shirts are required; candidates must provide their own steel-toe shoes.

All necessary PPE will be provided.

Conversion to a permanent position is possible, though not guaranteed.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM. During peak seasons, extended shifts and additional days may be necessary.

ONBOARDING REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of background checks, drug screening, and a physical examination (no lifting, audiogram, or respirator testing required).
