Two roles are available, seeking general availability to work of:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM (22.5 hours per week)
  • Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM - THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED

This is not a remote position - sorry, but the nature of this role requires attendance in Home Office in Arden Hills, MN.

Requirements
  • Receive incoming telephone calls, obtaining sufficient details to direct the caller as needed, facilitating internal messages and telephone transfers and
  • Greet all visitors and grant Catholic United Financial visitors and authorized tenant visitor's building access according to policy, using technology to contact receiving party as needed (instant messaging, emails, phone calls etc.) as needed.
  • Completes assigned tasks as allocated by a variety of departments with the allotted time.
  • Provide answers to routine inquiries and other information as appropriate.
  • Maintains appropriate confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to work the hours and/or shift assigned, begin and end work and breaks on time - critical for this role.
  • Must maintain courteous, professional and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, and with tenant clients, vendors and/or any other representatives of external organizations.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER
  • High school diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED) or equivalent combination of education and life experience.
  • Experience in a customer service role, reception role or other related experience in dealing with a high volume of phone calls, interactions with people and interruptions are helpful.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in-person and on the phone.
  • Some experience working with the Microsoft Office product suite including Outlook, Teams, etc. is required.
  • Experience and comfort using other software platforms and technologies is helpful.
  • Ability to multitask, and work through interruptions.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding in carrying out detailed written or oral instructions or requests.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective and efficient manner.
  • Ability to occasionally work a flexible schedule (more hours) is highly desirable, to cover for time off, special projects, etc.
