The Patient Service Specialist will work within an outpatient specialty clinic. The PSS will sit at the front desk when the patient walks in, checking them in and out. Will handle patient registration, schedule new and follow up appointments. Provide general customer service to all patients for whatever they may need. Answer inbound phone calls. Document provider notes within patient records on the EMR. Position breakdown 33% on the phones, 33% on the computer, and 33% assisting patients. Schedule: Monday - Friday: no holidays or weekends (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of administrative experience - patient registration/medical receptionist experience preferred Experience working on computers using multiple programs at once.
