Job Description We are seeking a Business Central Functional Consultant to join our consulting services team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our clients in implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This involves analyzing the clients’ business processes, configuring and implementing Business Central, documenting the system, providing necessary training and support, and working with client stakeholders to ensure system adoption. You will collaborate with other team members including project managers, architects, and business analysts to deliver solutions that meet our customers’ business needs. We value consultants who can effectively interact with clients and contribute to their business success through optimal use of D365BC. To be a successful functional consultant, you should have a strong background in business administration, accounting, or a related field, as well as experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems. You should also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team and deliver high-quality results within deadlines and budgets.

Essential Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their business needs and objectives. Analyze and document the current and future state of the clients’ business processes. Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and possible ISV software according to the clients’ requirements. Test and troubleshoot the D365 BC solution and ensure its functionality and performance. Provide training and support to the clients and their end-users. Manage the ERP project from initiation to closure, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of projects. Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in the ERP field. Strong knowledge of financial areas in Business Central such as general ledger, budgets, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting.

Job Requirements ·

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field. ·

Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems. ·

At least 5 years of experience as a functional consultant or a similar role in the ERP domain. ·

Knowledge of business processes, accounting principles, and ERP functionalities. ·

Proficiency in Microsoft Office. ·

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. ·

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. ·

Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Additional Considerations ·

Experience in any of the following technologies is a plus: Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement or other CRM and ERP/Financial products, Power Automate, Power BI, ISV experience (Jet Reports, Insight Works, or other Business Central ISVs), Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Field Service, Projects/Jobs
