Human Resources (People Experience) Business Partner - Corporate Location:

Primarily remote/Chicago, IL (ideal candidate will reside in Chicagoland region) Role Description: The People Experience (PeEx) Business Partner is a strategic partner at the corporate level that will immediately become an important contributor and key collaborator to assigned business units to ensure our people strategies align with business objectives. They will leverage people data to help establish people strategies throughout their client groups, and will ensure the effectiveness and compliance of human resource initiatives and activities, while acting as a strategic partner to leadership and resource to employees. Core Responsibilities: Utilize people data to identify trends and areas of opportunity, and develop and implement action items and people strategies in partnership with leadership accordingly

Work with leadership to develop change management plans surrounding new initiatives and rollouts, organizational updates, updated policies, etc., anticipating potential impact and need, and advising accordingly

Support employee performance management, including reviewing and approving of corrective action measures while ensuring consistency of policies and guidelines

Mitigate risks and the need for third-party representation as well as analyze trends and make proactive recommendations

Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory concerns including: Federal, State, and local laws and regulations related to the Human Resources function such as FLSA, ADA, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and FMLA

Manage employee relations investigations and employee concerns for assigned business units

Help create a culture that fosters a high level of employee trust by celebrating the open door policy and being a model of our values; provide coaching and advice to senior leadership and local managers, as needed

Support ongoing employee engagement efforts, providing guidance and recommendations to leadership as needed

Manage and help enhance employee recognition programs

Partner and liaison between corporate PeEx central team and field team

In partnership with the PeEx Talent Acquisition Team, aid in recruiting efforts, as needed

Continuous partnership with Leadership related to Human Resources items and initiatives

Other duties, as assigned

What weâre looking for: 5+ years of Human Resources experience required, 3+ years experience as an HR Business Partner preferred

Bachelor's degree required

SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification is a plus

Ability to deal with ambiguity

Strong professional presence

Proven planning, priority setting, and time management skills

Ability to quickly build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers

Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Flexible, self-starter, able to manage multiple ongoing projects without close supervision in a fast-paced environment

A demonstrated team-orientation with all levels of employees

Strong MS Excel skills

Access to reliable transportation is required

US work authorization
