Position Overview: Our client is a leading trading firm that prides itself on its cutting-edge technology, and commitment to excellence. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a strategic and dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You will collaborate with leaders across the organization to drive talent initiatives, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performance culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Planning:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business goals and objectives of the trading firm.
  • Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
  1. Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to attract, onboard, and retain top talent, including executive recruitment and succession planning.
  • Develop and implement talent management programs to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention.
  1. Performance Management and Development:
  • Design and implement performance management processes that drive accountability, performance improvement, and employee development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance feedback, goal setting, and career development opportunities.
  1. Organizational Effectiveness:
  • Partner with business leaders to assess organizational structures, processes, and workflows to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead change management initiatives and provide support for organizational restructuring efforts.
  1. Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for employees and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  1. HR Analytics and Reporting:
  • Utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to measure HR effectiveness, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to senior leadership, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or strategic HR role within the financial services or trading industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
