Job Overview:

We are recruiting for a Strategic Insights Manager to be part of Arm's Business Planning function. The team is a part of Finance, and our mission is to predictably maximize growth and profitability, short term to long term, in support of Arm’s strategy by designing and managing processes and systems. We develop market models, business models, revenue plans and investment decision frameworks that inform strategy and optimize resource allocation. We ensure consistency throughout Arm commercial operations through scenario analysis and pricing analysis and governance.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who will play an instrumental role in providing in-depth market & revenue insights, collaborating with colleagues across the business to ensure that our revenue information is accurate, timely, validated, and well-understood. In this role you will mine and combine multiple data sources to provide powerful, action-oriented recommendations. Ultimately through our work, we answer pertinent business questions & help Arm's senior leaders take the right decisions.

As part of the role, you will:
  • Provide insight and analysis on Arm's business performance & the performance of our competitors
  • Bridge data from various systems & sources to improve our market models, and provide advice to Arm's product management & segment strategy teams
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses of various key performance indicators across our business and deliver meaningful, robust and useful insight
  • Support the successful delivery of the forecasting & planning cycle at Arm
  • Produce detailed & accurate revenue scenarios to under business questions in data rich environments, as well as simple yet innovative models to tackle loosely defined problems which are on the fringe of our knowledge, making key assumptions based on primary research
  • Conduct research using external & internal data sources (structured and unstructured) to provide powerful, action-oriented recommendations to senior management
  • Additional duties as requested
Required Skills and Experience:
  • You have strong Excel skills & experience in developing market and revenue models, using MS Excel, Power Query, or R/Python/SQL/Alteryx.
  • You have deep analytical knowledge and can craft sophisticated financial models & dashboards.
  • You have strong commercial expertise & awareness.
  • You have outstanding problem-solving & analysis skills, assertiveness and self-reliance to drive issues through to a positive conclusion.
  • Ability to work independently but are a strong collaborator: Interested and motivated by working with others
  • Excellent Planning, Stakeholder Management and Project Management skills

  • Sophisticated modelling skills
  • Tableau / Power BI
  • R, Python, SQL or other statistical languages
  • You are curious and eager to learn particularly from others, building positive relationships across the organization.

Salary Range

From Lower USD- USD 150,768

Higher USD USD 203,981
