Controls EngineerNammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired systems; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, medium & large caliber ammunitions, mortar ammunition; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.How you will be rewarded as a Controls EngineerCompetitive SalaryMonday-Thursday work week working four 10-hour daysOff on FridaysGenerous paid time off and Holiday PayMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance401(K), employee assistance programs, flexible spending accountPrimary Responsibilities as a Controls EngineerDevelopment and maintenance of controls systems using industry best practices.Development of PLC or PC based control systemSupport and implementation of automated manufacturing equipmentDevelop aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, robust control systemsGenerate test procedures and conduct acceptance testingCommunicate with respective teams both internal and external to NammoPosition may be asked to supervisor technicians or other engineersRequired Experience & Skills of a Controls EngineerBS or MS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field4 years PLC and HMI programming experience with multiple hardware platforms4 years of experience programming and maintaining SCADA system on multiple hardware platforms Strong understanding of control system network topologiesWorking knowledge of NFPA79 Industrial Machinery Electrical Safety StandardsGenerate as-built CAD prints and documentations for panels and electrical schematicsAbility to obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operationsNote: Due to US Export Control laws and regulations; applicants selected for employment must show proof of a U.S. Person status before employment may begin.
