Our client is seeking an Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join their team.
Title: Inbound Logistics Coordinator
Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
Pay: $55k-$65k - Based on experience
Employment Type: Permanent
Locations: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process inbound shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations
Receive shipment details and transportation documents from overseas factories; accurately and efficiently log shipment data in the company system
Generate Inbound Shipment Notifications for 3PL warehouse, including accurate and detailed uploads for 3PL WMS
Log shipment receipts and reconcile inventory
Execute the shipment routing process through the customer's Transportation Management System and ensure on-time and accurate input of shipment details
Track the status of shipments in relation to upcoming customer orders; manage late shipments and communicate with Production, Sales, and Shipping staff to resolve issues and account for transportation delays
Proactively manage a high-volume workload
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in inbound logistics, preferably dealing with large, corporate retail customers
High level of computer literacy: MS Outlook, Office; basic proficiency with Excel required
Excellent data-entry skills and accuracy
Excellent written communication skills; managing a high volume of emails is a critical function in this role
Experience with NetSuite is a major plus, but not required
Solid organizational and time management skills; self-motivated
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
