HR Business Advisor

performs in a consultant role, providing our members with HR support via a "Hotline." The HR Business Advisor functions as an on-demand internal consultant to MEA Members and internal customers by providing guidance on a wide range of employment topics. Some of the scenarios will be urgent in nature and/or will be highly complex. HR Business Advisors interact with all levels within a member organization, including C-Suite Executives.

The HR Business Advisor position is a full-time role, working hybrid, 2 days a week in-office in King of Prussia, 3 days a week remotely. Position to be available full time in August, however, open to part time work prior depending on candidate need.

Responsibilities of this position include: Analyzing a wide variety of employment scenarios and counseling member companies and internal customers in all aspects of HR. Communicates with members via telephone and email. Provides timely, processional, and accurate information. Records member interactions within the CRM, Salesforce. Maintains data integrity by reviewing member details and submitting record change requests. Reviews content and written materials for accuracy, prior to delivery to the member. Makes recommendations for updates and changes. Identified when member questions should be elevated for attorney input or research or when appropriate to receive input from an MEA partner. Supports other lines of business with occasional project work such as contributing to publications, reviews and updates the member handbook, facilitates HR roundtables, conducts HR audits, and presents findings to HR and executive teams. Facilitates training programs and classes on an as needed basis. Experience and Skills

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP required. If not certified, must be willing to obtain certification within the first year of employment. 10 years of progressive, broad HR experience in at least 2 different industries Superior verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Proficient in MS Office and experience using or ability to learn a CRM. Must be resourceful, and have high emotional intelligence, patience, and ability to express empathy.
