The Senior Director of Digital Media Role

Reporting to the VP of Brand & Digital you will oversee our paid marketing strategy and activation efforts that drive growth across Qlik's programs, products, and solutions. The Paid Media team is focused on driving revenue and ROI across brand awareness, acquisition, cross-sell/upsell, and net new expansion. You will manage a team of media analysts and managers plus a dedicated agency across paid digital channels, including SEM, social, content syndication, display, and video. You will partner across the Marketing organization (Brand, Demand Programs, Field Marketing, Web, PR & Comms) and cross-functionally (Sales, Product Marketing and Finance) to build and execute go-to-market paid strategies.

This role is critical in driving high-quality traffic and leads in support of revenue and pipeline. You will get to define and own the Qlik paid media strategy across outcomes, channels, and geographies. You will create the framework for how success will be defined, measured, and optimized going forward.

  • Manage a global hybrid in-house and agency team.
  • Translate Qlik's business and marketing goals into a full funnel paid marketing strategy and media plan across channels, including SEM, social, content syndication, display, premium publishers, and video.
  • Leverage deep expertise in paid media to drive marketing and company-level strategies and executive decision-making.
  • Oversee budget planning and forecasting, including establishing KPIs and targets in partnership with Marketing Operations, providing regular insights on performance to exceed goals.
  • Work closely with our finance and data teams to define key metrics and measure appropriate impact.
Here's how you'll be making an impact:
  • Collaborate with agency and internal teams to measure results and make quarterly recommendations on optimizing the digital media strategy, updating targeting criteria, and adjusting the media mix.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment around paid media strategies and priorities across Marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing.
  • Explore and implement new media channels or methodologies to capitalize on a rapidly evolving data landscape.
  • Partner with brand, programs, and agency teams to build and execute brand and demand integrated marketing campaigns that drive quality leads, extend reach, and deliver long-term business impact
We're looking for a teammate with:
  • Bachelor's degree or more in marketing or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of Marketing and Media experience and 5+ years in a Marketing leadership role
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in digital marketing, with experience communicating and collaborating with executive stakeholders.
  • Excellence in leading both brand and performance marketing paid media programs.
  • Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills. Ability to dig into data and mastery around digital KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Robust experience leading internal and agency teams to create and deploy high ROI campaigns.
  • Experience leading and developing successful teams with cross-functional influence.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, digital media, and AI

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $ 193,710.00 USD MIN - 250,000.00 MAX per year. This position is eligible for a bonus of 25% under the Company's corporate bonus plan.] Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate's location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
