About the Role

In this role, the Marketing Operations Specialist will be working directly with the global CommScope marketing, sales, and IT teams to configure and use Marketo to build out marketing campaigns to reach new and existing customers. This role requires significant knowledge of Marketo, experience in building marketing campaigns, practical experience measuring campaign success, and the ability to work independently while part of a larger team.

Primary Qualifications:

3 to 5 years experience with configuring and using Marketo for marketing campaigns

3 to 5 years experience in building out, executing, monitoring, and reporting on marketing campaigns

Experience building and executing marketing programs at an enterprise-level

Background in using CRMs, including Microsoft Dynamics, and integration of the marketing campaign process between the CRM and Marketo.

3 to 5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing and communications

Demonstrated capabilities in managing large and complex audience segments & messaging sequences

Collaborate with design, content, and other digital marketers, the sales team, and the broader marketing team to create campaign collateral and stay consistent with the teams overall marketing strategy

Required knowledge of email and landing page best practices

Proficiency in lead management, including scoring, routing, and nurturing

Proven ability to improve campaign performance by identifying business opportunities in user data, campaign results, and cross-channel attribution

Attention to detail and organizational skills / effective project management / time management

High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

Familiarity and background in a technical company or industry is a plus, but not a requirement

Other responsibility details:

Responsible for the execution of cross-channel marketing automation campaigns within Marketo

The set up and deployment of automated communication journeys leveraging email, landing pages, forms, and lists

Working with various marketing team members to understand objectives, develop programs, and ensure execution and segmentation strategies meet those objectives

Managing the execution of marketing automation tasks such as campaign setup, scheduling, triggers, tracking, testing and deployment

Setting up, calculating, and reporting on measurements and metrics of the campaigns

Incorporating changes into campaigns to improve results based upon data captured during the execution

Conducting quality assurance to ensure deadlines and process steps are executed on time and without error

Support with general operational execution and QA, as needed

Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience

3-5 years directly using and setting up Marketo marketing campaigns at enterprise-level business

Deep understanding of the interactions between Marketo and CRM data for reaching targeted customers

Experience with technical team members, including product and software engineering

Marketing campaign lead management, metrics best practices, and campaign management

Marketo Certified Expert is a plus
