About the Role

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing
    • Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
    • Verify shipment accuracy and report any discrepancies
  • Inventory Management
    • Place and/or pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse
    • Ensure accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies
  • Order Fulfillment
    • Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations
    • Stock forward pick locations in the bottle room and the full case line in a neat and orderly manner
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
    • Report any equipment issues or damage to a supervisor
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
    • Report any safety concerns or incidents to a supervisor
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 56 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
