Promote patient safety through risk data analysis for process improvement, serving as a liaison to leadership on patient safety issues and initiatives. Intervene when conditions pose an immediate threat to patient health and safety. Conflict Mediator:

Mediate conflict situations with a high degree of confidentiality in managing risk information. Incident Oversight:

Oversee a facility-based incident report monitoring program, identifying and reporting high-risk incidents to the Risk Management Director. Leadership and Education:

Provide leadership and education on risk management and incident reporting, participating in committees and multidisciplinary teams for hospital-based patient safety, process improvement, and risk reduction strategies. Investigations and Root Cause Analysis:

Conduct investigations of adverse events, performing root cause analysis when indicated. Strategic Alignment:

Facilitate multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement action plans aligned with the strategic plan and annual operating plan metrics. Resource for Claims Reduction:

Serve as a resource to reduce claims and loss to the organization, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations related to risk management. Collaboration with Legal Counsel:

Work collaboratively with legal counsel to address risk-related matters. On-Call Coverage:

Provide on-call coverage for after-hour consults and on-site investigations when applicable. Adaptable Team Player:

Undertake other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the risk management function.
