The Media Buyer will be responsible for adding new profitable traffic sources to NextGens marketing mix. This includes campaign creation, optimization, development, and day to day oversight.

SUMMARY

Working with NextGens Marketing Department and reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Media Buyer will be focused on sourcing and developing new profitable sources to NextGens owned and operated web properties. This role will include cross collaboration with our Development, Design, and Sales team. The ability to work autonomously and maintain self imposed deadlines is also key to success within this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure that the company is actively testing new potential traffic sources with the overarching goal of increased profitability.

* Create, execute, and analyze paid media campaigns on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to hit specific ROI goals

* Conduct hand-on bid optimizations; develop and implement strategies for targeting, creative, and funnel optimization to meet and exceed volume & ROI targets

* Work with the Design and Development teams to develop creative assets and content, and drive the creative testing roadmap

* Continuously ideate and A/B test creatives and site targeting to optimize for conversions and scale.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

* Minimum two years of experience running direct response advertising campaigns; in particular were seeking someone with proven success creating and scaling profitable native, social, display, email, and affiliate campaigns.

* Skilled in writing compelling ad copy that converts to lead submissions.

* An in-depth understanding of the latest direct response marketing techniques and trends

* Fully comfortable with leading the end-to-end process of adding new traffic sources to the mix; the ability to work autonomously is key for this position.

* Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.

* Self-motivated, result-driven and committed to deadlines.

* Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.

* Advanced proficiency in Excel, Sheets, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager

* Exceptional written and oral communications.

* HTML, CSS & Javascript experience is a plus (not required).
