As a BA2, you will be leading the commercialization of a number of value-added products that we build in conjunction with the card networks, working together with our Product and Commercial teams, plus the Networks themselves. This will include creating and executing the go-to-market strategy for your assigned products and tracking pipelines, to ensure high-impact delivery across our various internal and external stakeholders.
Main duties and responsibilities
Create and execute a strong go-to-market strategy for products in scope, including pipeline tracking, customer engagement, building case studies, sales collateral and other assets etc.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders around the business, including Commercial teams to ensure strong sales engagement, Product teams to provide feedback into our broader product development, and Marketing teams to support marketing strategies for our strategic products
Collaborate with the Networks on pipeline reviews, acting as the go-between for our merchants and the networks
Communicate clearly, effectively and with authority to senior stakeholders. Articulate the value that your work is delivering and seek alignment on priorities and proposed solutions
Manage projects effectively with clear project plans, engage relevant stakeholders across the organisation, and report on progress
Support sales conversations with Worldpay
customers. Present our product solutions to them (alongside their account managers). Clearly articulate the benefits of Worldpay solutions and work with account managers to put together compelling commercial proposals
Work closely with Finance to forecast the total Net Revenue impact of the products you support, and adjust/accelerate plans as necessary to ensure that the team hits their revenue goals
What you bring:
Some experience, ideally in a relevant field (e.g., payments, card schemes, fintech) or strategy consulting
Commercially focused, with a desire to drive great outcomes for the business
Proactive and strategic thinker, able to look ahead to foresee issues and plan around them
Excellent organisation skills, able to coordinate across multiple projects and stay on top of details
Strong analytical skills
Clear, proactive communicator (both written and verbal), able to listen and work well with others while being confident and assertive where required
Ability to learn new and potentially technical topics, and communicate this technical detail in a clear and simple way to a range of audiences
Ability to build and leverage strong networks, both internally & externally
Added bonus if you have:
Technical expertise in payments products
Experience of customer delivery (sales, presentation to customers etc.)
A degree from a good university
