LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach.As a Facilities Engineer with the LotusWorks team, you will be stationed at an advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication facility in Ocotillo, Arizona. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of gas systems critical to the facility's operations.Responsibilities:Provide engineering leadership in the management and oversight of gas systems to support Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental, and Cost objectives.Ensure the safety and reliability of gas systems within your area of influence.Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of gas systems to meet uptime goals and avoid impacts on manufacturing and facility operations.Manage projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule related to gas systems.Plan, design, reconfigure, construct, maintain, and modify gas equipment and systems to meet business requirements.Deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing, and commissioning solutions for gas systems.Collaborate effectively with construction and operations teams to coordinate fieldwork related to gas infrastructure.Identify and implement opportunities to achieve the lowest cost of ownership for gas systems while maintaining reliability.Perform statistical validation of gas system performance to ensure operational standards are met.Collaborate with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure compliance with existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.Skills Required:Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger team.Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees, from engineering peers to operational technicians and management.Ability to manage diverse tasks in a dynamic environment.Technical expertise in gas systems, including high purity gas manufacturing, delivery systems, and process control.Proficiency in statistical process analysis and process control for gas systems.Strong computer skills and data analysis capability.Experience with troubleshooting techniques and the ability to apply them effectively to gas systems.Experience interpreting P&IDs and applying them to gas system design and operations.Knowledge of gas compatibility with materials, high purity gases, and the materials of construction needed to meet semiconductor purity requirements.Experience in engineering analysis, design, and installation oversight of gas distribution systems and equipment.Proven experience in project commissioning to ensure gas systems equipment, components, and infrastructure perform as designed.Ability to create and communicate project documentation, including sequence of operations, installation procedures, and checklists for commissioning and startup.Knowledge of NIOSH procedures and regulations related to gas systems.Education / Licenses / CertificationsBachelor and/or Master of Chemical Engineering from an accredited universityBenefits: Medical and Dental Insurance Life, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Insurance Training and Education Assistance 401k Retirement Plan Extra Annual Leave with Years of Service Maternity/Paternity Leave Recognition Rewards#INDHPLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
