The Senior Mechanical Engineer plays a crucial role within a collaborative team of engineers and designers, focusing on the development of construction documentation for various systems, including HVAC (wet/dry), plumbing, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering tasks related to the design of utilities and HVAC systems for advanced technology facilities, such as cleanrooms and manufacturing environments.
- Conduct mechanical engineering calculations to support HVAC design, including heat load assessments, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, and equipment selection.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive deliverables and integration of inputs.
- Provide on-site project support and act as a technical consultant to facilitate project execution.
- Offer specialized technical insights to studies and designs within your area of expertise.
- Assist in the formulation of studies and design procedures to promote high-quality, cost-effective work by the engineering team.
- Engage in close coordination with project teams and other design offices.
- Contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including sizing calculations and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills, a solid work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A collaborative team player who fosters effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Self-motivated and energetic, with a commitment to building positive working relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant experience, with advanced technology experience being advantageous.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Building Systems Software and consulting engineering is preferred.
- Experience in quality control review processes and continuous improvement initiatives is desirable.
