The Senior Mechanical Engineer will collaborate within a team of engineers and designers to create construction documentation for various systems, including HVAC (wet/dry), plumbing, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering tasks related to the design of utilities and HVAC systems for advanced technology facilities, such as cleanrooms and manufacturing sites.
- Conduct mechanical engineering calculations to support HVAC design, including heat load assessments, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, and equipment selection.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive deliverables and incorporate their inputs effectively.
- Provide on-site project support and act as a technical consultant for decision-making.
- Offer specialized technical insights to studies and designs within your area of expertise.
- Assist in the formulation of studies and design protocols to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness within the discipline team.
- Collaborate closely with the project team and other design offices to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including sizing calculations and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills, a solid work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A collaborative team player capable of fostering effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining positive working relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
- National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record is a plus.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in advanced technology environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Building Systems Software is desirable.
- Consulting engineering experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control review processes and continuous improvement initiatives is beneficial.
