This position is located at an advanced manufacturing semiconductor wafer fabrication facility in Ocotillo, Arizona.The role involves leading engineering efforts to ensure safety, reliability, environmental, and cost objectives are met, with responsibilities spanning from oversight of design and construction to maintenance and modification of facility systems and equipment.Responsibilities:Provide Facilities engineering leadership to the site organizations in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives.Owning safety within area of influence.Ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility (or operations) impacts by meeting uptime goals.Overlooking projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule.Oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements.Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutionsEffective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field.Identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability.Statistical validation of system performance.Collaboration with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, key stakeholders and through in-depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.Skills Required:Strong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger teamGood presentation skills and ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; from engineering peers to operational technicians to managementAbility to work on diverse tasks under a highly dynamic environment.Technical expertise in chemical and gases, and process controlStatistical process analysis and process control knowledgeExcellent computer skills and strong data analysis capabilityKnowledge of troubleshooting techniques and ability to apply them.Experience of interpreting P and IDsExperience on high purity Gas or Chemical manufacturing and delivery systemsKnowledge of chemical compatibility of materials for process fluids and gases, high purity gases, process control statistical analysis (PCSA), and materials of construction needed for chemical and gas systems to meet semiconductor purity requirements.Experience with engineering analysis, design, and installation oversight of distribution systems for chemicals and gas equipment and systems.Experience with project commissioning to ensure all chemical and gas systems equipment, components, and infrastructure perform as designed.Creates and communicates project documentation including sequence of operations, installation procedures, and checklists for commissioning and startupNIOSH training/ knowledge of NIOSH procedures and regulations.Education / Licenses / CertificationsBachelor and/or Master of Chemical Engineering from an accredited universityBenefits: Medical and Dental Insurance Life, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Insurance Training and Education Assistance 401k Retirement Plan Extra Annual Leave with Years of Service Maternity/Paternity Leave Recognition Rewards#INDHPLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
