Position Overview:
The Facilities Engineering division at NXP Semiconductors N.V. is dedicated to maintaining the Chandler manufacturing facility, ensuring the uninterrupted provision of essential services for continuous operations throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the comprehensive production and supply of Ultra Pure Water (UPW) to various production sectors.
  • Provide engineering supervision for the operation and maintenance of the UPW systems, which encompass Reverse Osmosis (RO), Electrodeionization (EDI), Deionization (DI), and ultrafiltration technologies.
  • Manage the existing water reclamation and recycling systems while innovating new solutions to achieve site and corporate objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures, as well as monitor the UPW operational budget and capital planning.
  • Supervise the UPW Operations technicians to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee waste water treatment processes, including pH neutralization, fluoride precipitation, and water reclamation systems.
  • Create detailed engineering designs for piping and control systems related to UPW and other facilities, ready for contractor issuance.

Qualifications:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • In-depth understanding of equipment systems in relation to chemical processes, including pumps, analytical instruments, and control systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, facilitating effective interaction across all organizational levels through various formats, including design documentation and management presentations.
