Position Description:

LCG is looking for a Client Services Specialist to perform project operations support for external projects and internal customers. Responsible for providing direct line customers service via phone, email and web help desk software. Provide training on proprietary software to end-user community, requiring knowledge of more than 10 process types with the ability to best judge the correct process type and assign to a client. Responsible for evaluating Federal funding documentation using independent decision-making skills to complete assigned tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Professionally handle incoming requests from internal/external customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
•Document service requests and enter into the helpdesk database for tracking.
•Exercise independent judgment to read and evaluate documents against varying sets of criteria and provide data results to various Federal clients.
•Provide customized support defined by project.
•Provide technical support for company products and proprietary software.
•Provide technical training for company products and proprietary software to end-user community.
•Provide internal operations and facilities support as directed.
•Train staff on internal systems
•Train staff on internal and external processes
•Lead internal system enhancement recommendations.
•Lead contributor to maintenance of SOPs.
•Work in a fast-paced environment, interfacing with senior management.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of customer service and administrative experience
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong customer service skills and positive personality
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-start and be proactive in resolving issues.
  • Capable of providing feedback to improve processes.
  • Ability to work on and complete tasks under timeline pressures, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred: Experience in federal grant review process

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000 to $66,000per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
