Job Summary

An industry leader in the Bonita Springs, FL Herc Rentals is seeking a Procurement Supervisor. The position is responsible for assisting in the strategic management of Business Services strategies, procurement activities and ensuring the corporate programs are communicated and monitored to meet company objectives. Categories include, but are not limited to Credit Card Programs, Travel, and Procurement. This position requires significant 'customer first' mindset, strong organizational ability, keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. In addition, the role requires high-levels of adaptability and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing category spend through report technology.
  • Lead project teams and work effectively in a complex business environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and to guide and motivate the team.
  • Lead cost analysis initiatives to benchmark internal performance.
  • Manage administrative performance for all card programs (P-Card, T&E and Fuel).
  • Ability to think strategically; excellent project management, facilitation and interpersonal and negotiation skills are required.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
  • Anticipates and identifies internal customer needs and recommends solutions to complex situations.
  • Manage processing and tracking of all program related payments.
  • Continue to seek and implement process improvements while reporting and resolving inefficiencies.
Educational Background and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting preferred
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Must have knowledge of Oracle systems
  • Experience with Travel/Expense programs like Concur or similar platforms
  • Experience in team management preferred
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem solving and analytical skills
